Egg Hunt Layout

This layout was made using the Fantastic Five Layout from the Imagine idea book. It was made with five solid cardstock colors. Each color was textured using different texture tools or stamps. The Easter Egg stamp set was used to speckles to the Buttercup papers, while the black stubble tool was used to texturize the Key Lime Papers. The easter eggs were decorated using the Easter Egg stamp set. Prisma glitter was used to outline all of the white photo mats and the letters in the word Hunt. The grass and the designs on the Lilac Mist paper were made with the Sizzix machine, while white organdy ribbon was used to accent some of the photo mats.

Stardust Layout

This club layout was designed using the Bottom border Title Layout and the Quartet Offset layout from the Reflections Idea book. Stardust is a great new paper pack for boys, birthday, and other special events. Some of the products used on this page were bamboo waxy flax, eyelets and sand paper. The lines were made with the embossing stylus and paper trimmer. The moonstruck and topiary papers were sanded to give a distressed look and to highlight the embossed lines. The Believe in your Dreams stamp set was used to stamp on the background paper and to stamp on the twill ribbon to give it some character.

Notebook Layouts

This layout design came from the workshops on the go program from CTMH. The pink/blue paper was reversable, so the paper could be switched to whatever color you preferred for the club. Those who had boys chose the blue side, while those who had girls chose the pink side. We used the Rustic Alphabet for the lettering. The New Horizons stamp set was used for the blue pages and the Soul Mates Word Puzzle was used for the pink pages.

Emporium Layout

This layout was made with the new Emporium Paper pack. This layout was based on the Perfect Prelude layout from the Imagine Idea book. We used the Cocoa ink pad to antique the pages and accented it with the new Pewter Designer brads.

Key to My Heart Layout

This club layout was made using the special Key to My Heart stamp and the With Love Stamp sets. This layout was made using black, white and red cardstock, chrome hinges, and the tiny round sparkles. The key was made using silver embossing powder. The red scalloped borders were made using the corner rounder with the guard taken off.

Aspen Layout

This is another club layout that was done with my favorite paper...the Aspen paper pack. This paper pack is so fun and the finished pages can look so different from each other, depending on which cardstock you use with them. I had some help from my Cricut to make this project. All of the circles and the lettering where cut on the Cricut while the snowflakes were made using my Sizzix machine. We inked with Bamboo or Outdoor Denim and just did a little distressing with the edge distresser on the cirles and photo mats.

Game On Layout

We completed this layout in our February Scrapbook club. We made the grid design using the Embossing stylus and the Euro Paper Trimmer. We ran the stylus down the paper trimmer every 1/2 inch and then sponged ink over the lines so they would stand out. We made a hidden journal tag to put behind the main picture on the left page. A litte stitching was done on the photo corners and on the square to add some fiber to the layout.

These layouts were taken from our Reflections program Idea book. The left page is a half and half layout called Perfect Square and the right page is the Quartet Pinwheel layout.

Evensong Layout

This evening song layout was modeled after a layout in our quarterly Keynotes booklet. I love this paper packet, because paired with the Evergreen stamp set it makes beautiful Christmas layouts. I had never seen ribbon knotted before this layout, which is a really cute look for a page.

Game On Layout

I had seen the first page (left page) of this layout on our Consultant bulletin boards and absolutely loved it. I completed this page and then created a layout to go with it for the second page, since there was not a second page paired with it. I used the Rustic Alphabet for the titles and cut spiders and webs from the Cricut Paper Dolls cartridge.

Sarsparilla Layout

This layout was based on the Role Play Layout from the Imagine Idea Book. I actually scraplifted this layout from our consultant idea board, because I thought it was so cute. This paper pack is adorable for western and outdoor layouts. It was paired with the Legendary Moments stamp set to give it a western flair.

Blue Ribbon Layout

I used a sketch layout from a Scrapbooks, Etc magazine for the first page of this layout. Mine isn't exact to theirs, but it is similar. I had to use design studio to create the star through my Cricut. I made up the second page to coordinate with the first, since only the sketch of the first page was given.

Scrapbook Club

My fellow consultants said that scrapbook clubs were a lot of fun and I have to say that I agree. We are just finished up my first scrapbook club. We had been meeting the second Thursday of each month to complete the pages. I have everything precut when the girls arrive and we spend anywhere from 2-4 hours putting the pages together. Some pages have been more difficult than others, so they take a little longer. We try different techniques and tools and have used everything from the distressing tool to sand paper. The club covers six months, has six members and is at my home every month. This way all of the tools are here and we don't have to inconvience anyone other than my family:-). Each member is the host for one month and brings a snack and beverage. As the host she also receives a $25 host product credit and the stamp of the month free. In exchange for completing pages, each member has to place a $25 order at each club meeting. This club has been a great way to learn new techniques, to experiment with products before buying them and to get some extra pages done. I am going to be starting a new club in May, but have opted to have it every other month this time. This will decrease the financial burden of joining the club, because it will space out the order requirements over the course of a whole year, instead of just six months.

Sleddin' Scrappers

Breena, Shannon and I are heading out to have fun! I can't believe our husbands actually trusted us with their sleds. We drove the sleds to the trail and probably made it at least half way to Ravenna. We were a little unsure at the beginning, but by the time we returned home we were taking jumps. We had a great time. Breena is on the left, Shannon and is on the Right, and I am in the middle. You can see our house is in the background.
